Throughout the game, you will control Isaac or other six playable characters through a procedural generated world in a roguelike manner fashioned in a way of the Legend of Zelda where you will defeat monsters in a real-time combat meanwhile collecting items and powerups in order to defeat bosses and eventually Isaac’s Mother. In the game, Isaac’s mother receives a message from God demanding her son’s life as a proof of her faith while Isaac flees into the monster-filled basement of his home where he must fight to survive. The Binding of Isaac is an indie rougelite video game.

One final update to Wrath of the Lamb was released on July 8th 2012.

Fixed normal rooms appearing in secret rooms in xl floors.

Refixed secret rooms blocking off areas.

The tarot card's effect is random and not set.

Trinkets such as The Polaroid and The Left Hand only appear once, if one uses The Dice and gets the item, or fights Mom, a tarot card will be dropped in its place instead.

Greed + greed heads no longer take coins when touching them while invincible.

The Mask + Heart enemy has reduced health.

Mutant Spider has been added to the list of 'Unique' items, meaning that it will be less common.

The Polaroid only drops from Mom if a Devil Room spawns after the fight.

The Habit only gives the amount of recharge you would get for clearing a room upon being hit, instead of giving 3 points of item recharge flat.

Explosive Diarrhea Pill can be found again.
